Nachdem meine Schwester Chemie studiert hat sie sich zum Geburtstag ein Periodensystem zum Aufhängen an die Wand gewünscht. Also hab ich mich ein wenig mit Inkscape beschäftigt und einen ersten Entwurf zusammengebastelt. Um das Ganze ein wenig interessanter zu gestalten, habe ich die Ordnungszahl bzw. ein farbiges Eck zum Kennzeichnen der Art des Elements mit Schrägen gestaltet. Nach wenigen kleinen Anpassungen habe das Periodensystem schließlich einfach einmal im Metalab aus schwarzer Klebefolie mit dem Schneidplotter ausgeschnitten und gleich dort an die Wand geklebt, da man dort doch immer ein Periodensystem brauchen kann. :)
Since my sister is studying chemistry she wanted a periodic table to hang on the wall. So I started playing around with Inckscape and made a first draft. To make the periodic table a bit more interesting, I made the atomic number and a colored corner for indicating the category of the element with slanted edges. With a few changes I finally cut the periodic table out of matte black vinyl foil using the cutter at the Metalab and placed it there on a free spot on the wall, since you can always use a periodic table there. :)
