Parallel mit der Lok im Maßstab 1:11,11 habe ich an einem anderen Modell für den 33c3 gearbeitet, dessen Anfänge ich in diesem Beitrag zeigen möchte. Nachdem das Metalab auch am Chaos Communication Camp 2015 mit seiner Telefonzelle vertreten war, wollten wir sie natürlich auch im selben Maßstab nachbauen. Den Anfang machte wie schon beim Zug das CAD-Modell. Im Fall der Telefonzelle war das wesentlich einfacher, ich musste mich nur einen Nachmittag mit dem Maßband und meinem Laptop in die Telefonzelle setzen und alle Details präzise nachbauen.
Parallel with the train model in 1:11,11 scale I was also working on another model for the 33c3. Here I’d like to present the beginnings of this model. Since the Metalab took its phone booth to the Chaos Communication Camp 2015 I wanted to recreate it in the same scale. Again the first step was the CAD model which was way easier to make than the train because all I had to do was to sit inside the booth with a measuring tape and my laptop to recreate all details precisely.
